The training landscape is evolving, and False Bay TVET College is on the forefront, recognizing that the traditional school product isn't the only productive means of studying. Their NCV programmes are created for college students who would like to begin their journey toward a satisfying occupation early on.
CareersPortal.co.za had a chat with the Head of Department for Engineering Studies at False Bay College, about their different courses.
False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are made available at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a three-yr period.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Prerequisites
These classes start at NCV level 2 and the bare minimum prerequisite click here would then be Grade 9 certificate with a pass in Arithmetic.
At the time the student finishes NCVLevel 2, they would then have attained a grade ten certification. NCV Level three would be grade eleven and NCV Level four is grade twelve.
NCV Level 4 is at the exit level, remaining comparable to a Countrywide Senior Certificate (NSC).
Grade nine is on NQF level 1. Our NCV programmes start NCV stage two that's equivalent to an NQF level two.
On which type of scholars are suited for these programmes, they say that the world is acknowledging that standard education is not really always the one means of becoming an artisan or becoming competent so if a student knows from an early age what their interests are, the NCV programme is really completely suited for that student.
False Bay TVET College will assist the student to become qualified in his field of interest. Students who want to become entrepreneurs will also have access to their Centre of Entrepreneurship on the Westlake Campus.
